Antonio Sarmiento
was born in Bogota, Colombia and has attended schools in Spain, Germany and in the United States. In 1989, Antonio was accepted to the renowned Valley Forge Military Academy & College where he attended on a music scholarship.  He was promoted to Sergeant after just six months, and received the Alumni Golden Sword for Best New Cadet in the Corps. Antonio also trained with Army Special Forces Units and founded the Academy’s acclaimed Theater Program. He performed as as a singer, instrumentalist, and actor for two U.S. Presidents and various foreign dignitaries and graduated with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts as an Officer with various military honors, medals and commendations.

Antonio continued his formal education in New York attending Fordham University at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Production/Fine Arts.  His stage performances included lead roles in "Biloxi Blues", "Into the Woods", "Working", “Bernardo” in "West Side Story", "Waiting in the Wings", "The Beast" in a national tour of "Beauty & The Beast", and other theater positions including Assistant Director for the acclaimed Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.

After numerous stage productions, national tours, films and television shows as an actor, singer, instrumentalist, writer, producer, and director, Antonio founded Mosaic Visions, a production company based in Los Angeles. Antonio tapped into his advanced technical knowledge to do work for Universal Studios, and later as a Web Producer for the Universal Music Group. He worked on web productions for top music artists including U2, Eminem, Mary J. Blidge, Enrique Iglesias, and Andrea Bocelli.

In 2002, Antonio wrote, produced, directed and edited his first film entitled "The Offering" that visually encapsulated the scope of his talent and abilities to bring ideas to life.  The film drew the attention of Steven Spielberg's Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation where Antonio spent three years as Head of Production until it’s closing in January of 2006. At the Shoah Foundation, Antonio flourished in creating video, print, and internet productions that have earned awards and praise by the entertainment industry, his fellow colleagues, and Steven Spielberg.  His final project for Steven Spielberg's Foundation was producing and directing the first ever interactive documentary on the Holocaust using over six hours of video on the internet. “Surviving Auschwitz” has since been viewed in over 32 countries and continues tracking hits in the millions worldwide and is used by Universities around the world.

In 2006, following his success with the Shoah Foundation, Antonio founded Sarmiento Productions, Inc., a consulting and production firm for film, video, multimedia, and print.  SPi has worldwide clients and has been recognized for it’s high level of quality and professionalism as well as it’s diversity and consistency of services. His clients include Hollywood Studios, Leading Businesses, Non-Profit Organizations, Latino Organizations such as the Latin Business Association and the National Association Of Latino Independent Producers, Political Officials, Feature Films, and Large Corporations. In addition, Antonio gave lectures on image branding and technology strategies for Executive MBA programs and businesses at Cal State University and Pepperdine University.

In 2007, Antonio was invited to The White House along with other Latino professionals who were recognized by President George Bush as representatives of the rich and talented Latino Culture in the United States.

In 2009, Antonio opened a new production studio outside Toronto, Canada where he currently produces various types of film, video, live, theatrical, television, and internet productions and specializes in social network marketing.
